DLA to PIP 65+ was created by sbsj2
My Wife is 66 and has been on DLA with an unlimited award for a long time due to MS. She has now received a letter saying her DLA is ending and she needs to apply for PIP. As PIP is only for 16 to 64 years old our understanding was that she would continue to receive DLA. Has this now changed

The DWP are inviting all DLA claimants who were under the age of 65 (UK mainland) on 8 April 2013 even if they are over 65 when invited.

Please see our PIP Claim guide for information about the process and the criteria your wife will need to meet for an award.
