I had my PIP review form arrive a few days before Christmas. It was dated 2 weeks before the day it landed on my door step believe it or not.
I had 2 extensions, first was due to late arrival and Christmas holidays and further due to having chemotherapy treatment and being unwell after which often is the case. They were supportive on the phone of these and I managed to just about get the form in, in time. with a supporting letter from my oncologist saying what I had, and that It significantly impairs my mobility and daily living in a nutshell.. I am not sure how good this is for PIP but its gone off.
I have had numerous surgeries to my leg and have a long term impairment now, and dealing with this 4th tumour, they know all this from my original form.
I had a few changes and I was scored 0 for managing treatment/therapies before. This I do not know how I would possibly manage to do this alone when I have to go to a specialist centre who deals with the rare tumour which is hours away and I can no way do this alone due to how weak I am after.

Anyway - my question is, how long after the forms are you likely to hear? its been 3 weeks tomorrow since they had them. I am so anxious. I have sent a GP letter to support my depression and counselling which was late due to my file being in medical records. I feel sick with worry and I just wish it would all go away. I don't think I can face another assessment.

I would expect an appointment for a face to face interview in 2-4 weeks from the form being returned for a date a couple of weeks later.

To score for Managing Treatments, the therapy has to be in your home, so if you go to a specialist centre then you won't score.

thank you Gordon. Is there possibility they will make a decision without another assessment or face to face automatic?

It's possible but I would not rely on it.
