In the booklet sent out by Independent health Assessments (formerly ATOS) on Page 9 Para 2 it says

"Please tell the Health Professional if you would like to see what they are writing in their report. Sometimes it may be easier if they describe what is being written."

It would appear that HP's are not familiar with this, but after consultation with management I as 2nd line supporter was offered to sit with the HP as she typed, whilst the Appointee and Claimant were interviewed.

Yet to find out the Decision Makers analysis, but the report as seen was infinitely more accurate than the last one three years ago.

Alos woth noting in some areas the assessment process has been sub-tendered out to an NHS Trust.

Be aware that the bulk of the report and in particular the recommendations are only completed once the claimant has left.

Thanks Gordon appreciate you cannot see beyond that which was typed to that point.

So far unless that was changed, it contained significantly more factual information.

Many thanks
