Hi
I have just found and joined this forum ,but first let me say I have limited PC skills/
I am now 68 in a week or so ,and have just been informed i must apply for PIP.
Due it seems that my birthday fell after the cut off date in switching from DLA to PIP if that makes any sense?
I have been receving DLA Higher rate mobility and Lower rate care since the late 90`.
I am now waiting for the dreaded brown envelope ,but havnt a clue who to turn to to give me help in form filling ,something that I have never done well due to stress.
I did go to the local office of DIAC and was told there is a long waiting list and nothing could be done until the forms arrived,Only then could I go on a waiting list .seems silly ,but a sign of the times.
so to the knowlagable out there please who can help
Regards
Mike

Mike

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

You may struggle to find help with completing the PIP2, try doing an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county, you can also try contacting any charities that specialise in your conditions.

Failing that, have a look at our PIP Claim guide and other resources that are on the following link

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip

If you have further questions then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.

Sorry about that, I thought I had changed it but the forum is doing strange things today :(

I've corrected it in my original post.
