Pip question was created by Lala125
Hi,
I have received my pip review form.
On the managing toilet needs nothing has changed on how it affects me. I got zero points on MR however now I have had tests and scans and the tests show I have an over active bladder and under the care of the hospital for treatment and I’m on medication. Even though there has been no change to how it affects me do the DWP class this as a “change” ? Same applies to my pain I had an MRI scan and I have bulging disks causing the pain. I have had acupuncture and physiotherapy but nothing has worked so I can only rely on pain killers from my gp.
Do I right this on the extra info or is it a change ? It still affects me the same way as explained on my MR.
Thanks

Lala

From your post this is just a diagnosis of a condition that you have had for some time so it is not a change, however, I'm not sure that it will help yo to score points for Toileting. I would go back to the Descriptors to check the criteria you need to meet.

Would it be any use to send in test results that I have had since my MR?

If it simply indicates an over active bladder then there may be no point in sending the report to the DWP, however, if you can tie this to the Toileting Descriptors then it would, can you do this?

Then I would send the report, but you need to explain why it is relevant to your problems with this activity so include a covering letter explaining this.
