Sorry to hear about your situation ..... don't give up - carry on to the end. When I first went for incapacity benefit in 200 I was awarded 0 points by ATOS. I appealed and won - awarded 19 points. Now all these years later because of change to PIP from DLA I am back here again. My condition is degenerative and will not improve but gradually deteriorate .... It is so obvious we are just a statistic. I believed that this time it would be different but sadly not. Your husband is right - if we don't stand up it is only ourselves that suffer and we lose our pride too. At least I still have my mental faculties and a voice so I will use it.
I have just downloaded my form and will read all this sites advice and start again. Good luck xx

Sorry to read this, I didn't put in MR. but on receiving report, and seeing the lies, I did complain about the actual report. There were lots of lies. One being that I refused physical exam. She actually said she could see I was in pain so wouldn't do that. But of course if she had admitted that, it would go against other stuff she said. Like I was dressed casual and well kempt, actually I was in pj s and must have looked a mess because of problems I was having that. Well I was told I would get a reply within 21 days, it came after a week. Of course it sided with assessor. All said she would have had ample time to do mental health check. Id told them she was only here around 30 mins, when she arrived I was in bathroom, yet in report she said I was coming downstairs when she arrived. I do hope it goes well for you
