I would say the benefit of hearing others with the same problems and the help they receive from the mods and other people who may have experienced a problem with the benefit agency consider it to be a pool of knowledge and take what you like from it. Ask a question and I'm sure your get some guidance to the outcome.

As someone who has been a member for years I wouldn't hesitate to say its worth every penny if you ever have to make a claim for DWP Benefits. The Members Guides to ESA and PIP are excellent - detailed, accurate but also straightforward. They guide you step by step through the complexities of making a properly evidenced claim and help you understand the processes. And if doing that doesn't work first time, there is equally good advice on Appeals and mandatory reassessments.
Plus the News items keep you up to date on developments.
Personally I would wholeheartedly recommend this site.

The members guides are the best available, often better than some of the f2f advice offered

Don't think of the subscription as a payment but as an investment in your future. I have been a member for 4 years and have posted very little but read all the advice given. By using the guides and taking all the advice on board, my husband and myself have both got ESA support Group twice and he got PIP, both Care and Mobility at Enhanced rates. We could not have done this without this site. And we were complimented on the clarity and depth of his PIP claim. It is a tiny cost in the long run.
