Hi Gordon,

I’ve just been advised of an ESA face to face appointment on 26th March. Last year I remained in the support group without a f 2 f using my evidence instead. My circumstances haven’t changed yet Maximus have disregarded my evidence given this year. I have changed GP surgery and they say this is the reason why,as they wrote to them apparently. The surgery say they have not been contacted.

Why do they do this?

There have also been changes to the DWP guidance, especially for Substantial Risk so this may have been a factor as well.

I can't really comment on your GP being contacted or not, you are most likely talking to a call centre jockey who may genuinely believe that a request for information has been sent.

Gordon, can you outline what the changes to the guidance on the 'substantial risk' are, or point me in the right direction so that I can have a read up on the current guidance.

Thank you
