Hi everybody I am a new member having a home face 2 face assessment on Monday my question is am I allowed to ask what they have written when I answer a question and can I have notes to help with terminology on my condition and finally will they ask to look round my home see my aid etc thanks and you guides,where so helpful in filling in my DLA to PIP forms

You can ask to see their notes and the guidance does say that they should allow it but don't be surprised if they refuse. Be aware that the bulk of their report is written after the assessment.

Yes you can have notes with you, but if you refer to them, explain why you are doing so to the assessor.

It's actually quite unlikely that they will ask to look around but if they do it is up to you whether you allow it or not, they are a guest in your house and have no more right to look than anybody else.

The PIP Claim has a section that deals with the assessment and has a list of the questions you are likely to be asked.

Thank you Gordon I have read every thing you have kindly provided one last question will she have read my evidence before they arrive by the way the cancelled once already at 9-25 when they appointment time was 10-12 that day.

They should have, but may not have. I'm afraid there is little that you can do about this on the day.
