So this could be due to your assessor recently qualifying so their reports are being checked or it could be that your report has been chosen at random for audit.

If they have given you a date for the report to be sent on then I would expect it to be reasonably accurate.

Hi Gordon

No date was given really it was a time line stating that I should have it within a two week period, being that it is either being checked or picked at random for audit purposes, that should hopefully be a good thing as long as the right decision is reached, which should be enhanced on both mobility and daily living. Thanks again.

Morning Gordon

Here’s an update I have received an update by text this mornings from DWP and they are now saying after the assessor said it should be 4 weeks after the assessment you get a decision and now it’s going to be within another 4-6 weeks again so annoying, I’ve also still not received the written report, so I phoned DWP this morning and Jeremy said “yes we have the report I will task myself to send this out today or tomorrow and it should be with you in 7-10 working days”, I did say I phoned on the 16/3/18 and 20/3/18 and I was assured the report would go out by the 23/3/18, he then said “oh yes it’s said this on the screen, not too sure why it hasn’t been sent and there is nothing to say there is anything holding that up as to why you could not have a copy of the report”.

This is so depressing and annoying. I was hoping for the decision to be delivered by end of this week :-(

Hi Gordon I’ve finally got the report from the assessment, although the report is in depth there are some significant areas that are total wrong and was not answered in the words written, the assessor has copied and pasted identical paragraphs in various locations which in some areas does not match my conditions. She states that I was observed in standing and seating, of which I did not do any of that and in final comments she states that I can stand and walk 20 meters and that is a laugh, she has not mentioned that I need support in getting to the toilet which is twice a day and during the day I have to self catheterise down stairs all day every day not mentioned in the report.

It states that due to my physical condition and that it recognises this will deteriorate I would not need a review. Not sure what that means as far as PiP re-assessment goes?
So I take it I now have to wait for the decision and see if I need to appeal or not!

The report will indicate the Descriptors that they are recommending so you should be able to work out the points from this.

I’m so depressed right now I was on full DLA care and mobility on the descriptors alone I score 7 points on daily living, due to the gaps not included I’m disqualified from even standard, I’ve just phoned WDP re the report and told them the gaps highlighted to which she said based on my form and the report she can see more than 7 points and it’s better to wait until the CM has assessed the report and claim for the decision as she thinks it will be higher, this is so worrying it’s like being on a knife edge, what do you think?
