Hi Gordon,
I will be thrifty indeed ... I did read somewhere that whilst overpayments are all recoverable, a date hasn't been set for this to commence as yet. It may be possible to contest and see what happens?
I'll keep you appraised.
Kind regards.

Hi Gordon
Well, after having an email from UC stating that yes, I am in receipt of CB/IR ESA, they had cancelled the overpayment.
However, I had a bad feeling about this, and called ESA, to find that I had lost both the SDP and Income Guarantee premiums ... Im now nearly £400 worse off having returned to my original area, where UC went Full Service in November. I tried relocating prior to this after another stroke but couldn't find suitable accommodation.
I understand there is a law firm that has won a High Court hearing in May regarding the loss of these premiums, it is Leigh Day, they are asking for as many people to come forward to add to their case studies.
Are you aware of this possible action? It's to be heard 1-4 May 2018. One of their clients is
terminally ill.
All the best

I'm aware of the case but there won't be any updates until it is heard.
