Hi, at my ff should i just tell them the aids i use? or shall i actually have them with me in the room?
and show them?
just thought them seeing them visually might be better???? Or it might look a bit odd?
I am going to be using my living room for the ff.I only have a chair at the side, or they can sit on the sofa with me. I haven,t a chair opposite me. Will they want to sit opposite me so that can see me more! (over thinking everything!!! !!) dreading it.
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Most assessors have no interest in the aids the claimants have, they usually accept that they have them, but if you think it will help then it will do no harm to have them available to show.
As to where to sit, whatever works for you, the assessor will have a laptop which they will likely balance on their lap so as long as they can do that they should be happy.

Also can i ask what he or she is typing about me?
Or can i ask at the end to read it , or them read what they have put?
I will be on my own for the home assessement.
Thanks

You can certainly ask, the DWP guidance for assessors says that they should show what has been written but not all assessors will allow it.
Understand that this is only your responses to the standard questions, the assessors opinions and recommendations are written after the assessment.

Thanks!
Also can I write some notes?? So that any questions she/he asks, as I may forget, as I’ve just read my form back & have forgot a few things!
Which I don’t want to do at my home f2f
Which I will as I’m so nervous
I have my assessment on Wednesday. Will she/he already know what rate I get on my DLA at the moment?
Thanks for taking time out to reply- much appreciated

Yes you can have some notes with you but if you use them then explain why you are doing so.
They will probably know your current DLA award, but it is not relevant to the assessment so don't rely on it.
