just recieved the dreaded PIP form was created by charmedone
I have just recieved the brown envelope containing the dreaded PIP form it only gives me two weeks to fill in and return. Where on earth do they expect me to get all the evidence they require My rheumatoid specialist nurse has agreed to send me a letter my consultant has just retired not yet been replace Bath Mineral Hospital are not good at sending copies of reports due to me being out of county what do i do at the moment. I receive DLA med level help and high rate for mobility I am also 68 yrs old the DLA was indefinite when issued please help me I feel like topping myself I used to be a OT in my old working life so i hate the thought of being assessed by some unqualified idiot sorry that sounds terrible but i have read the horror stories. I suffer from servo positive RA osteo RA osteoporosis and crumbling back as well as other things II also walk with crutches

You can request a two week extension by phoning the DWP using the number on the letter that came with the form.

Thankyou Gordon for your reply I will read your claim guide and I will apply for an extension date I need it as I am very dyslexic which does not help filling forms wish me luck I am going to need it.

Hi Lindy

A thought on the reports from the Mineral hospital - your GP could have copies of the letters they send him,
maybe if you ask the GP can copy come stuff for you to put it. Kind thoughts

Hi Gordon
Just recieved a white envelope saying I have to go and be assessed do you think I should take the copies of all the medical evidence I had previously submitted with me one to give them to refresh any queries they have and also a prompt for myself for myself. Friday the 13th is living up to its name two letters both with bad new one for the assessment on 23rd the 2nd an admissions date to have surgery on the 25th wish me luck. is there anything I need to do for this face to face contact.
