It's a while since I claimed PIP but from what I remember, the DWP ask you about your conditions, they don't give you a list of conditions.

Hi Gordon,

The person I spoke to asked 'have you got any of the following?' and rattled through a list which included dementia, Down's Syndrome and schizophrenia. There were more conditions in the list, but none of them physical that I recall.
It was just before the declaration part at the very end.
I'm wondering whether I should call back to double check, or if it's too late once the initial call has been made.

Thanks.

It's only to understand whether you might have problems with completing due to your conditions. In practice, I'm not aware of anybody who has had problems with getting an extension if needed.

Thanks, Gordon. I'm just worrying in case I didn't catch her mentioning a condition I actually have, and this having implications for the application. Nerves shattered, as usual.
Thanks

Confusion, question 11, mixing with other people
Hi, could you please clarify this for me? I'm confused about the terms 'mixing with people' and 'engaging socially'.

Does question 11 refer to:
Initiating or maintaining relationships?
Mixing with people for a short, fixed period (eg: having builders in)?
Mixing intermittently with known professionals (eg: consultants, etc)?
One off or random encounters (eg: taxi driver)?

Thanks.
