Pension was created by weymouth321
When our Uncle Leslie died 3 years ago, at 65 yrs ; his Prudential Pension was left and directed into our mother's bank account. Mother died 27th January this year. Now, the remaining balance is £2, 000 - £3,000 - I can't remember the exact amount, but it's below £3,000. Prudential are going to pay each 3 of us daughters £ 30.37 per month until 2020.
It shall be back dated to February 2018.

I claim income related ESA and low rate care DLA.

I shall have to inform DWP. ( I'm waiting on the letter of confirmation from Prudential ).

Shall I photocopy Prudential's letter and post it to DWP, when I receive it ?

I had my Medical Assessment for ESA 15th February and still waiting the decision.

With Kind Regards,

J.

Yes copy the letter, but be aware that the DWP may ask for additional information. If you can, send the letter by a tracked post so you have proof of delivery/

Hello Gordon,
Just what additional information DWP may ask for ? Does DWP make their own search of my bank account ?
Should I photocopy my bank statement, as the pension company has made their first deposit into my account, of £ 62.18. ( My mistake, it's double the amount ).On the 3rd April. Pension company state this shall be paid from 1st February 2018 to 1st March 2020.
Plus photocopy the Pension Company's letter to enclose.
And send it together by tracked post to have proof of delivery.

Many Thanks, J.

They may ask for historic bank statements but I would not offer them, your current one should not be an issue.
