Hi ,I have been found capable for work last , have appealed in October, and now thanks to your help won the tribunal and from 0 points I got 18. so its Work Group I shall be on and not the Support group I was on before they cut me off.
In the meantime I became a carer for my partner £62 per week topped up with ESA to bring it to the minimum the law says we need to live on.
My question is, what will happen next and how much will I earn, will I get paid from July or October? Should I stay on carers allowance? I keep getting mixed answers. Thanks

Congratulations on the Tribunal result, sorry to hear that you did not get back into the SG.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give them a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

You will receive back payment of any missed ESA minus any benefits that you received since being found Fit for Work.

You post suggests that you are receiving Income Related ESA, this being the case then your CA will deducted from your ESA but you will receive a Carers Premium, giving a net increase of about £35 per week.
