I’m still going thru the laborious process of filling in my AR1, (everything takes me so long, even without a neuro appointment to wear me out) and trying not to get stressed about the 3 week due date/deadline looming large (25th) but I digress as usual.
I asked for a copy of the ATOS ‘consultation report’ after the home visit/assessment and I’m going thru it to use for my answers (when they’re appropriate/correct) and I noticed that the assessor recommended I be reviewed after 3 years, despite not thinking that there would be any change. If I had to guess why, I’d say that they were instructed to do this...

If you have problems completing the form then you should be able to get a two week extension by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.

All PIP awards require a length of award, although these rarely appear to be linked to the claimants conditions. :(

Thanks for the reminder re extensions Gordon. I managed to use the NGT lite app to contact the dwp’s textphone (though it’s a different number for NGT. Should I share that info here?) So was able to get a 2 week extension without the stress of having to speak on the phone. Such a relief :) TY

I don't have a problem with this.

I meant should I share the number to contact the DWP via NGT as a new topic, just in case there are people here who have difficulties with communication via phone but are unaware this option exists without the need to buy an expensive textphone. I only learned about it this week.
My DWP letter has a textphone number, but it isn’t the number you need if using the NGT app. I was asking you, due to your experience here, whether what I learned would be appreciated by others on the forum. I’m not able to be here much so I have no idea what would or wouldn’t be useful. Sorry for any confusion.

AS i Said, if you want to post the information the I don't have a problem with your doing so, I can't tell you how useful it would be to others as it is not something that we have been asked about, however, that does not mean that it isn't.
