start date of pip was created by merlin
i have recently won a tribunal following a year long wait, the unfair decision to stop my benefits , has caused a gap of several months from the end of my last claim, if i succeed in my new claim will the start date be the end of my last claim or will the dwp use this delay not to pay me for those months, even though the delay was cause by there unfair decision.

Congratulations on the win, it usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give them a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

You will receive back payment of any missed payments from the date of the Decision that was appealed, so if you had an award and this was reduced or removed then this should result in all missed money being paid.
