Hello Twinkletoes; Good news!! I got my award & happy with results, I can’t believe how fast it came through. I had my F2F on 10th April & results 4 weeks to the day. Lovely surprise as I wasn’t expecting it so soon. Could I ask you if you have got assessors report yet?

What I forgot to say in my last post was a big Thank You to Gordon & Team at B&W for all the help on here that I was able to use completing my forms from DLA to PIPS I’m actually better of than I was as I have been awarded enhanced on both daily living & motability. Would just like to say that mine was not a bad experience at my F2F even though I was in for 1.5 hours & recieved my results 4 weeks to the day from my F2F. I’m in N Ireland & results do tend to take up to 6-8 weeks but for all your from N I waiting you may be lucky like me & get them after 4 weeks. Taking into account the amount of time it takes from the dreaded form arrives with us to results can take up to 3 months + &that can be a very worrying time. Good Luck to you all & just keep in mind we are the lucky ones to have found the Benefit & Works who point us in the right direction as to how to explain our disability. Thanks again Gordon & Team x

Hello Poppy, I'm delighted that all went well for you. Yes, I requested assessors report over the phone and I received it 3 days later. Lost out on mobility component - but that was because the criteria changed and only awarded 4 points, and you need 8 points to get the low mobility. However, the length of the award kind of makes up for that. If only the goverment took into consideration the stress of completing these forms and having to go through F2F places on everyone and makes their health actually worse!! and will cost the health service more in the long run.
Kind regards

P.S> I'm sure this has been a weight lifted from you!
