Imy award for pip ends next year but I've been asked to go to an assessment centre, when I called dwp they said this is what they do to prepare themselves when I called Atos they were confused as to why Dwp have requested this. Also I normally have home visit for my Agoraphobia however they said the rules have changed and I don't meet criteria. I told them it wasn't possible for me to go then they said they will get back to me. My question is my mothers award is ending this year and her reassessment is next week, so why is mine a year early?
Nearly all PIP awards are being reassessed a year in advance of it ending.
If you want a home assessment then you will need your GP to write to the Assessment Provider explaining in unambiguous terms why you cannot attend at their offices.
