having had the dreaded brown envelope inviting me to apply for pip we completed the phone bit & have just returned the forms after taking as long as possible to go over each question with the aid of b&w guides.my wife thought she was writing a novel but equally she wanted to give as much relevant information as possible.hopefully it will be a paper based assessment but im not holding my breath.the guides have helped greatly.so fingers crossed & thank you.

I would expect you to hear in about 3-6 weeks about whether an assessment is required or not.

Give it a couple of days and you should be able to request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, a Decision should take 2-4 weeks.
