Tribunal meeting next Friday was created by Jutey
Hi can anyone help, I am an appointee for my daughter. Can anyone tell me what to expect at the tribunal, we have support of a welfare rights officer who will be attending. Any tips on how to prepare would be greatly appreciated. We only appealed end of February can’t believe how quick the date has came through I was expecting at least 6 months.

I can't offer much information as hearing are unique to the individual.
For an ESA appeal there will be two people on the panel, a Judge and a Doctor, for PIP there is a third member with experience of disability issues. There could be a DWP Presenting Officer although this is unlikely.
The following Ministry of Justice video is for an ESA appeal but it will still give you an idea of how it operates even if it is for a PIP.

Hi Gordon,
Thanks for your reply it’s a pip tribunal. I have provided quite a bit of supporting evidence but you can never really tell how these things will go. We are lucky in the sense that our hearing is within 2 months of the date we requested appeal I really can’t wait for it to be over.
