Hi I just got a text saying PIP assessment appointments are available in my area over the next 7 days. Is this normal? I requested a home visit in a IAS area (Scotland), does this mean they're doing home visits in my area?
I am, of course, away for the next seven days - I have to travel for a homeopath appointment, which I'm not really well enough to go to, but too ill not to go, if you see what I mean! If I tell them I'm away, will that compromise my claim? I take seizures when I'm out, so that's why I've requested a home visit. Thanks
Thank you! That's such a relief. I'm so stressed about my trip, I don't need to be trying to prepare for a short notice assessment as well. Thanks so much!
