Hi All, Could anyone advise of timescales on the above. I submitted my forms with a lot of evidence and confirmed receipt of them with DWP. They received them recorded delivery on 27th March 2018. I've still not heard anything from them at all. Is this normal and could it be due to the amount of evidence I've sent. They have not contacted anyone in respect to the evidence i.e. GP, Consultant, Professor, Clinicians or Podiatrist. Just a bit worried given its 4 weeks now. Thanks

We would expect claimants to hear about an assessment 3-6 weeks after returning the forms, so your are still within these timescales, you can contact the Assessment Provider for your postcode directly,

You can chase ATOS for an update.

Just a further point Gordon, having visited the GP today ive had a further diagnosis of Arthritis, is it better to just take the new evidence to and f2f (If I can get a letter from them or the report following the xrays.) or send it to DWP? Just don't want it being missed if I send to DWP and I get a date for f2f in the meantime..Maybe do both is the best option..

Paul

I would do both.

If you get a letter from your GP then send it to ATOS immediately, it could tip the balance on your needing a face to face, take a copy to the assessment if you have one and ask the assessor to read it and include it in your file when they return it to the DWP. Lastly send a copy to the DWP office dealing with your claim.
