DWP Esa Assessment was created by Keith M M
Hi
First time poster.
My son, age 39, has Asperger's and mild learning difficulties. He receives P I P and Esa and is on Support Group.
We've had a letter to attend an Assessment ( DWP ) I have previously read that if on Support group you do not need to attend an Assessment as his condition has been the same since birth.

Appreciate any advice.

Many Thanks

Keith

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I'm afraid what you have heard is incorrect, being in the Support Group does not exempt a claimant from attending assessments if required to do so.
