PIP appeal tribunal.

I have just had my appeal, after 8 months of worry. I took my daughter with me as she is my memory. Went through the procedure with the clerk of the court who told us what to expect about the hearing. Eventually called in and sat down in front of the Judge for want of a better word, who had a medical professional on one side and a disability expert on the other side. The main person made introductions and the introduced the only other person as a legal representative of the PIP side of things. I had offered no further evidence than the multi page letter explaining why I should get PIP that I had already supplied. This lady then made a statement that shocked not only me, but all of the officials. She stated that the decision was going to be reversed and that I would get the basic PIP award that I had lost last year. Unbelievable that the waste of the tribunal staffs time and the months of worry that it has caused me. Why couldn't the PIP department contacted me before this time and used this slot for somebody else! Advise to others.... Do go through with the tribunal as even though the worry of the whole process nearly made me stop the process, my daughter said she would be there for me.
