1st time poster here. I am going to be late sending my ESA50 back to Maximus. My mother took seriously ill and was admitted to hospital, the stress of everything has caused me to panic attacks. Will they stop me claim regardless if form is day or so late?
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My advice would be to send the form in on time, even if not complete and to do so using a Tracked post so you have proof of delivery. Whilst a late form may still be accepted, the process if it is not may take some time to resolve.
You can always provide any missing information if you need to afterwards.
If you are already late to return the form then send it immediately, again using a tracked post, the procedure is that providing the form has been received then the process should continue, however, Maximus may return your file to the DWP in the interim and it could take weeks for the process to be restarted.
Make sure that you have a copy of the ESA50 that you send, if you can't scan then take photos on your mobile phone.
