Gp report letter was created by Poppy
Hi I have been told on my assessment report that I am stable independent and only on first line medication so no award. What can I ask my GP to write to prove not true. I have a letter previously dated 6 months ago saying I am struggling with life. I am on high dosage of medication. But report saying stable cos no change. If I did change I would not be stable. I have been on medication for 7years and on class and pip for the same time. Depression anxiety PTSD Thanks

Ideally you want your GP to testify to the problems that you have with completing each of the PIP activities.

Failing that you need them to explain your conditions in a way to reasonably imply the problems you have with the activities.

Lastly, you need a clear diagnosis of the conditions you have and a proper explanation of the medication your receive and why it is prescribed.

There's a GP Notes document in the PIP area that your GP can either complete or use to add some structure to their own letter.
