got called up

Well for the first time since 2003 I have been called in for a medical at local centre. I maybe fooling myself but I think 15years before they assess em in person cold be part of the reason, especially as my form was completed in full and just as they like the evidence etc. I dont think Im nervous about the medical itself but Im worried that I have to get there at 8am in the morning and its a fair distance. I would like to record it all for the first time - is there any guidance/help on that on the site? I dont wish to sound too cool about it, Im not, Im having a head buzzing time and at the moment I need to get their med right in my head.

Thought you might be interested in my recent experience at a face to face assessment. I notified the centre (prior to attending) that i wanted the interview recorded. They insert 2 discs and at the end of assessment handed me 1 copy and retained the other. It was just as well ,as when the decision letter came through stopping my benefits (0 points) there were numerous discrepancies between what was written in report and what was actually said/happened at interview. I am awaiting a reply to my challenge. Good Luck.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Last time I had to go all through this including tribunal for DLA, I requested every mortal piece of paper they had handled and written about me. Just as well because half their report was about someone completely different name and disabilities illnesses. This DLA TO PIP couldnt have come at a worst time as I am due into hospital for a hip joint replacement 2 days after their interview. Also they have changed the premises so Im very nervous about the setups in the waiting area and of course the toilet. What fun, that you Havant Hampshire. We went over there today to check it all out and you can see the thumb screws through the window.
