ESA transition from CB to IB - calculation of 365

I have been on IncBen since 1999. A few years back I was migrated to ESA WRAG. On the same claim I was given 12 months in the support group last June 2017. (although 10 months seems to be the new DWP 12 months. I am in the process of attempting to complete my ESA50. My question is this:- as I have a continuous claim (18 years) will the days accumulated on CB-ESA be aggregated if I am put into the WRAG group after this Support Group period? If this is the was case I would , if eligible, be placed on IB-ESA, and with a small ill-health pension would lose any funding other than NI Credits. If the CB days aren't aggregated in a continuous claim, and I were to be placed in the WRAG then I assume I would still have 365 days of CB-ESA. Please can anyone help? I am inevitably sick with worry. I have just over 2 years until I receive my state pension. (It could have been sooner - WASPI)

I'm afraid it is the total time that you have spent on ESA while not in the Support Group.

Is there no IB transitional protection as with Occupational pensions since 2001? I thought this protection would remain until March 2020?

No this is an ESA rule and nothing to do with IB.
