Hi,
Please can you give an idea of how soon a PIP decision is made and sent to claimant after the home assessment please? Or point me to where this info is?
I can't work out where the Index is on forum as when I click on the word no index list appears.

Most PIP Decisions are made 2-4 weeks after the assessment.
Click on ESA, PIP and DLA Queries and Results to see a list of the topics in the forum.

Hi I had my assessment in August 2017 and received the decision Jan 2018, but I don't think that is usual.

My son had his PIP assessment last Saturday and we were told we would hear in 4 to 6 weeks.

I was told by the assessor that I would hear in 4 to 6 weeks, but it took about 6 months.
It didn't really matter though as I was still recieving my DLA, but I know it is really stressful for everyone waiting.
My illness affects my memory (among dozens of other things) which can be quite handy as it stops me worrying continuously about anything.
