DLA promised decision on hold till further medical

thanks, I am still waiting for the GP letter but I have a referral for counselling which I have posted off about 4 days ago. Even 1 week extension mean about £80 to me because they have stopped it altogether, even if they decide not to wait any longer.
If it is proved that the case Manager agreed to wait till medical evidence received have they broken the law because they lied to me. Will this be taken inot consideration at appeal, thanks

Thank you but it was the case manager that agreed to put the decision on hold. So who else decided the decision. Is lying ok and can they get away with it if it is 100% proved. will the appeal court take this into consideration. How can I get justice. I now have no award and even extending one week means £80, even if they still say no award. Is there a law about lying when you work for the government, thanks

No they have not broken the law, they have no legal obligation to extend the MR process to allow a claimant to send in more information.

This is not a matter that a an Appeal panel will be interested in, they will only consider whether you meet the criteria for an award or not.
