Had letter a week already falling apart. Did read that everyone is getting an assessment due to wrong points being given. Doesn't stop the nightmares and flashbacks from last time though.

The PIP Claim guide has sections that cover the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

Went to face to face. It was mentally and physically exhausting and very confusing.

The IAS guide leaflet I received stated "Information we DON'T want to see. * Information you've sent us before including your PIP2 form.

My condition has worsened since I filled in the form which they received recorded delivery 24th April 2018. My ACE levels are very high and I have been put on steroids and fungal infection creams. I've also been tested for diabetes and Thyroid Disorder (3rd July) the results of which I've heard nothing as yet. This wasn't previously sent information.

The assessor a paramedic who said he'd only been doing the job 3 weeks wasn't interested in the information. I'd also written down in my own words what 24hrs of a good day was like for me. Bearing in mind it took me 4 days to write as my hands cramp. He didn't even look at it apart from commenting that it was neat hand writing.

I had already explained on my PIP2 form that I'm having frequent memory problems. He kept asking me for various dates of diagnosis's I'd had over the years since 2008 . I became very confused and ended up giving the year I thought it might possibly have been.

This is all information that was given at the time of my first assessment and again at my tribunal three years ago. He could see I was getting upset. I said "You've already got all this information" and he said "All I've got on my computer is your PIP2 form nothing else".

He asked if there was anything else I wanted to add and I said the additional information I had written up and he said I don't want it but you could probably post it to DWP yourself if you think they need to see it. He then looked at the time and exclaimed "Oh goodness is that the time".

My appointment time was 1.15pm. I started my interview at 1.40pm and it finished at 4.25pm.

He did say he had no idea when I'd hear from anyone regarding my claim.

I'm just going to have to wait and see what comes through the post and take it from there.

You should be able to request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, a Decision should be about 3-5 weeks.

Have recently received copy of the assessment report not the offical letter. They are going to award me nothing for Mobility and standard Daily Living. At the moment I get enhanced Mobility and Daily Living.
Long story short as I can :
He didn't believe I have constant memory loss or indeed memory loss at all, Saw no evidence of mental health problems. Not sure why he would expect to see them in his office.Stated I only use my toilet aid because I want to, stated 6x 200mg Ibuprofen was only mild painkiller medication, when I got confused and upset because he kept asking me for all dx's dates from 2008 to present he said there is no need for that . I do have this information but their guideline leaflet said I wouldn't be asked for any information I had already given so didn't take it with me and couldn't remember it. Made the assumption that because I walked 5 metres to the room with crutches I could clearly walk 200 metres. Apparently I use my mobility scooter because I want to and not being able to use public transport for about 7 yrs was my choice not a disability! I'll stop there but there is lots more inaccuracies and assumptions.

The advise I'm asking is do I need to correct everything for my Mandatary Reconsideration Request or should I keep it short like your sample letter and save the total corrections for my appeal? My concern is another decision maker will see the same inaccurate information if I don't correct it.

Dealing with the issues in the assessment report is important but is unlikely to result in the Decision being revised especially at MR, you need to go back to your claim form to make sure that you have shown that you meet the criteria for a higher award.

Did you receive an AR1 Review form or was it a new PIP2?

Is the Ibuprofen on prescription? If not then I think this will have undermined your claim.
