PIP form now received was created by mumsgirl
That's me now received my PIP form, I was surprised to see I only have 3 weeks to return it, I was hoping it would be at least a month! I'm getting quite distressed already. Can I ask, on average, how long after people sent their form back did they get the assessment please?
Sorry, I couldn't add this to my original thread but I don't know how to find it.

You should be able to find your previous posts by clicking on your name as it appears in the forum, for example to the left of your post above.

We would expect an appointment 2-6 weeks after you return the form for a date 1-2 weeks later.

If you need it you can request a two week extension to the date you need to return the form by, the phone number will be on the letter accompanying the form.

For information, my step-daughter returned her questionnaire and recieved an assessment letter dated 5 working days later, with an appointment 7 working days after that. Indecent haste. Nobody could pretend to have given this the respect it is entitled. They will hardly have had time to read the claim.

When would you advise I posted the form (obviously I want to leave it till as late as possible)? It's to be in for SUNDAY 17th JUNE.

Send it by a tracked post, the only issue is the later that you leave it the more it will cost.

Thanks Gordon. What date do you advise I send it? I was thinking Wed 13th, first class tracked, in the hope that it gets there for Friday 15th, as im not sure they would be open on Saturdays?
