pip going live was created by ellen1st
Dear Gorden
Yesterday I filled in and posted my esa3 form.
I was anxious to get it done so I just posted it in the letter box.
Today I found out that my area is going live for UC in June.
I am now concerned that I didn't send it recorded as I thought I had a few months before UC came in. Is there anything I can do. I think if I have applied income based esa before June it should be OK.
I am unsure if this form will give me any premium i am entittled to or do I need to apply seperatley for this. THankyou.

Being assessed to see whether you are eligible for Income Related ESA will not result in your needing to claim Universal Credit, it can be added to your existing ESA award.

ESA is a single benefit with two eligibility and payment methods.

All I can do is repeat what I have said, receiving ESA(IR) as an addition to your current ESA claim will not result in you having to claim UC.

Yes, most of the ESA Premiums are not payable under UC.
