Pip after 64 was created by maggben
Hi i have just won my pip tribunal on wednesday, my original pip award was from 2015 to 2018, but as with everyone else was reassessed earlier, sept 2017, assessor lied and i lost my pip and my mobility car was taken back, i was on enhanced care and enhanced mobility, but got zero points after assessment lost everything, but went to tribunal this week and was reinstated enhanced on both and no end date, i know dwp can appeal and i am waiting for that. But what i need to ask is, i am 64 in july this year, so if i get a car again on mobility scheme, will i loose car when im 64 in july, and will i loose pip and have to claim something else, i dont know what to do now if to get car on mobility or not is it a waste of time doing this. Thank you

Congratulations on winning your appeal, well done.

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give them a call to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.

If you have a PIP award before you reach the age of 65 then the award will continue as long as you continue to meet the critieria.
