Hi,
I had my review and sent the form back 7th March . 3 weeks ago I received a letter from capita who said they have been asked to look at my claim and heard nothing since. It has now been 13 weeks on Thursday that I sent the form back and have not had a decision yet. Is this normal? Last time it was turned around in 5 weeks that failed and I put in for a MR and I won which took 9 weeks. Does it seem likely that capita have done a report without a medical? I do hope so.
I have changed my phone number since my last claim but have put my new number on the form, would they note that ? This time round I have received no texts.
Thanks in advance

We're not aware of any delays with PIP assessments at the moment so I would chase Capita for an update.

Hi,
Called capita and I have a home visit in 2 weeks. Feeling even more nervous now. Don’t know whether I feel more comfortable going to them or them coming to my home.
Anyone else had good or bad experience with home visits ?

Hi
Because it is a review however one condition has got worse and I got a letter from my gp which I sent with my form supporting this will capita have access to that ? I really though I had sent in enough evidence to get a paper base. I don’t understand what more info they want when I doctor wrote a very detailed report. The last time road at MR capita said they used info off my gp however my GP said the form was on his desk so that can’t be the case. Then capita said the DWP must of lost my paper work. I really hope it will not be the same again. I also have results from my MRI and bladder which they don’t have is there any use in showing capita at the home visit?

Yes the assessor should have access to everything that you have submitted as part of the assessment.

I would give them a copy of the two reports but without context they may not have the effect that you hope, could you write a covering letter explaining the relevance of them to your problems with the PIP activities.
