I sent of my renewal forms for PIP and 6wks letter received a reply saying they'd received it and if they received all the relevant information from my Mental Health Team and Doctors I wouldn't have to attend a face to face. Two days later I receive a face to face appointment for 7 days!
I called the number and was advised theyd tried to call my Psych and could get them so I'd have to go to a face to face.....the woman was very nasty, intimidating and sharp.
I explained my team hadnt received any calls etc as they were aware DWP would be getting in touch. She basically said tough!
My team has received paperwork today to complete and my face to face is the 18th......has anyone ever had their face to face cancelled last minute and still received an award?
Im terrified at the thought of it?

It's not impossible that the current appointment will be cancelled and a Paper Based Review done, but your mental health team will need to reply quickly to ensure that the information is considered.
