PIP mobility was created by snozzy
Good Evening,
I'm in the process of filling out my PIP form, ( moving from DLA), and I'm very concerned about the mobility section, all I've heard and read is that if you can drive, you won't get awarded the enhanced rate? I do drive, but definitely not daily...or even weekly. However, it my last thing that gives me some independence. Any ideas on what I should write on my claim form?
Thank you x

Whilst the DWP do make assumptions about a claimants abilities if they drive, driving is not part of the PIP Mobility test and you do not have to make any reference to it in your answers on the form.

As to what to write, explain your problems, our PIP Claim guide explains the criteria for both of the activities in detail.
