Does anyone know how long you have to gather supporting information after you have asked for a mandatory reconsideration, as DWP (pip) have made a decision before the evidence was able to be gathered. ?

Did you tell the DWP that you need extra time to supply evidence?
If you did then they should have given you four weeks to send the information although this does include postage time, so in reality is at best three weeks.

Thank You again Gordon , yes asked for extra time, but had to wait 4 weeks to see Mental Health Team , this is for my Boyfriend, and wanted too see if they can make further decisions as it is so hard to get too see the relevant people, Mental Health have said PIP need to write to them before they will disclose any information. He had his PIP stopped after a medical , where he was not examined at all . So Looks like i will have to get him to get it to go to a Tribunal Now. They do not realise what distress all this causes as you can not see Mental illness. He had to have Crisis Team Intervention due to this.
