Pip deadline was created by Carly
Hi
I’ve been invited to apply for pip from dla. I have the letter to make a phone call with a month.
From here do I then get a month to fill the forms out after they arrive?
Due to family birthdays and very poor energy I’m trying to spread out the length of time - if I wait till near the end date for the phone part would I then get a month from this date? But if I phone now it would begin now? If so I won’t phone straight away but wanted to check in case leaving t give me a less time to fil the forms out. Thanks
Charlie

You will have four weeks to complete the PIP2, although this includes postage, there will be a letter with the form that will give you the date the DWP need to have the form back by. You can request a to week extension if you need it.
The clock will start a couple of days after you make the phone call. It's up to you when you make the call although I would not leave it until the last couple of days.

Thanks Gordon.
Much appreciated. Okay I’ll wait until about 10 days from the deadline and call, then will have roughly a month from here to get forms in. Thankyou
