Hello, first time user here! Been using the guides and reading the forum, very, very good and informative site! I have one question,my son turns 16 in August, his dla runs out in August 2019. The question is,do I need to apply for pip before he turns 16, or will they carry on paying his dla and send me a new application form out in the post? In short, wait or call and will he still get paid after he is 16 on dla? Thanks Gordon
Gordon, I have seen the unbelievable work you do on this site, I hope you get a long deserved rest to recharge your amazing batteries! Thanks again

His DLA award will remain in payment until he is invited to claim PIP. You do not need to take any action, the DWP will contact him when they are ready.
