I received my ESA50 form beginning of March 2018. I completed the form using your website and guidelines and posted back the form on 14/3/18, recorded delivery. The deadline was 19/3/18. I didn't hear anything back from DWP until they sent me a letter (with my final payment of ESA) and P45 (enclosed) dated 21/3/2018 which I received on 24/3/18. I called DWP on 26/3/18 and was told because I had not returned my ESA50 form within the required deadline date: 19/3/18, they had cancelled my claim. I explained to the DWP, I had posted the form out in plenty of time 5 days before the deadline, and when tracked it had been delivered on 19/3/18, and I cannot be responsible for the Snow. I know we had the 'Beast of the East' Weather at that time.
I submitted a Mandatory Reconsideration in writing and sent a copy of my recorded delivery - proof of postage receipt. 3 weeks later they reinstated my ESA with back payment. Then on 14/5/18 I called DWP to ask if I needed to attend a f2f (face to face) assessment. I was informed they had made a decision and I would remain in the support group until Aprill 2020. It was a very stressful time for me as I was also waiting to hear back from my PIP review following on from a home assessment carried out by the Health Professional..
Overall I would like to give a big thank you to Gordon and B & W website, because the guidelines etc. It gave me a huge insight to a lot of information I was totally unaware of. I will continue to subscribe and keep myself updated and fully informed.
AGAIN, A HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Congratulations on the award and well done for fighting your case over the "missing" form.
