I understand you receive disability income gearantee if you are put in the support group or enhanced PIP? But do you receive this whether you are income based or contribution based ESA? As I have just read you can only claim this if you are income based and so I'm not sure.

The Premiums are only payable if you are receiving Income Related ESA in part or in whole. If you are only receiving ESA(CB) and are now eligible for the Premium then this may mean that you are now entitled to ESA(IR).

If you think that you are then contact the DWP office dealing with your claim and ask for an ESA3 form to be sent, this captures your financial information.
