Delay receiving letter

I received a letter from my Council last week out of the blue saying that I had been awarded PIP and giving my Council Tax credit etc. Joy and many tears! Anyway I then rang Motability who also confirmed that I had been transferred to PIP and even allowed me to swap over my car for a more suitable model (again joy). Then I plucked up courage and with my heart beating enough to give me a heart attack I rang the PIP help line they said that a letter was on it's way confirming that I had indeed been awarded the full payment of both types of PIP. My case would not be reviewed until 2028 at the earliest. Again tears and many thanks to yourselves for your help. The trouble is this letter which apparently was posted a week before the end of June still has not arrived. I need the letter to get the new car and just as important want to see the results in black and white so that I can know when my money will be paid and equally can sleep at nights. Has anyone else experienced letters going astray and do you know if it is possible to ask for a second copy? I feel desperately sorry for those who have not yet been told their results - it was affecting me physically waiting. With many thanks.

I have printed out a couple of copies of your web address to leave at my doctor's surgery as he mentioned that others were really suffering waiting to be dealt with and he was in some cases having to prescribe sedatives to people who had never before required them. What a country! I do feel your site gave me information that was missing from other sites. Do you have any on going discounts that I could also pass on to the surgery?
