Capita - Home Assessments was created by Sjay
Good afternoon thought you might like to hear of my experience today with Capita. Today I had a home appointment for 11.30 am.By 12.15pm no one had arrived. My husband phoned Capita as he was concerned something untoward may have happened with the assessor. Capita tried unsuccessfully to contact the assessor. By this time we had been cut off and had to start all over again the time now was after 12.30pm. Capita assessment manager eventually managed to get through to the assessor who said she was running terribly late. By this time over an hour had passed since the allotted time of 11.30 am. We were told by Capita because they alot an hour for each assessment we were able to cancel the appointment and get on with the rest of the day. How can an appointment be cancelled when it had not taken place There was no apology and why oh why could they not get a message us to notify of the long delay.
We now have to contact Capita on Monday after 12.30pm and they will inform us as to why the assessor was running so late and also another appointment will be made at the same time.
The DWP PIP section were contacted and updated as to what had taken place.

Totally stressed out.

Thank you for reading the above
