Pip mandatory reconsideration was created by tracydh21
Hi ..I am new to this and have a little question. I applied for pip early March due to my anxiety, depression and breathlessness.. I had my capita assessment in June, I have been awarded standard mobility and no daily allowance. I have done a MR with the help of this site.. originally I sent in a letter of my cbt,a statement of my husband,a weeks diary, list of my medicines but I have not sent any new evidence with my mandatory reconsideration.. Does this matter?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
It's not unusual for claimants to have no additional evidence for an MR sp don't worry overly about things that you cannot change.
If you haven't done so, request a copy of the assessment report by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim.
Did you score any points for Daily Living?
What activities did you expect to score for?
When you requested your MR did you say that you would be supplying additional information?

Hi Gordon
Yes I have a copy of the capita report ..which there were quite a few things I have disagreed with. I scored 2 on daily and 8 on mobility but as I have stated in my mr I should be awarded the standard rate for daily allowance and enhanced for mobility ..as she “forgot” to put that I do not go out without another person. But recently my doctor has diagnosed me with osteoarthritis Which is not on my claim but I did write it at the end of my mr.

So what activities did you expect to score for?
Were the 8 points you scored for being unable to walk more than 20m to 50m or were the points split across the Moving Around and Going Out activities?

The only one I did not expect to score 0 points was toilet and incontinence as I’m fine with that. I have problems with everything else but scored me 2 points for mixing with people ..which I should have got 4. The mobility I got 4 on each and should have scored 10 on planning a journey and 8 on moving around.

I'm afraid your not scoring suggests that you have failed to explain your problems with the PIP activities in terms that the assessor and Decision Maker could understand.
All I can suggest is that you review your answers on the form along with our claim guide and the assessment report.
