Esa50 questionnaire after enhanced pip last year was created by Dmanda
I'm confused concerned and unsure why after I was awarded enhanced pip for the first time in my lifetime after a fight with atos I could not go to the centre & I had a home visit after the great news of pip awarded with unexpected bonus of enhanced thought ok I know my heath conditions of depression aniexty ptsd and emotionally unstable personality disorder that I wasn't aware of. I thought I'd get a break from the assessment as I can't cope with them . So I am very anxious to know why I have received esa50 I'm already in the support group. I am currently awaiting the biopsy results of skin cancer but I did speak to dwp overpayment dept & said I was waiting to get the erosion /removal date and u wasn't going to request a reclaim as it is unknown so no change as not definite diagnosis of what it is. I was told by the surgeon it was most likely basal cell carcinoma. I am already worried sick about the results now this. I have actually said I would rather not fight it. The cancer is my chance to leave this miserable existance. Can anyone help or advice me please I am at the end of my tether. Thank you

Although ESA is an indefinite award, claimants are reassessed on a regular basis, not usually more than every three years and often shorted.
Although a PIP award can assist with an ESA claim, it cannot replace an ESA assessment, the criteria is too different for this to happen.
You need to treat this ESA reassessment as a new claim for the benefit, complete the form in detail and provide evidence as you can, even if you have submitted it before. Please make use of our ESA Claim guides to help you with the form.

Thank you for your assistance Gordon I couldn't find the reply for the life of me. I really thought they might leave me alone for a while as awaiting skin cancer biopsy results is all I have had on my mind for the last month but thank you again for the much appreciated help
