ESA Long Term Conditions exemption form reviews

Hi. Has anyone had experience of getting into the long term conditions group and therefore not required to be reviewed. I’m the appointee for my daughter who has severe learning disability. She was reassessed for ESA without a health assessment and placed in the Support Group as before but is still listed for review. The decision maker said that because she had “ learnt to read and write there was a chance of progress”. This is ludicrous since the claim form clearly explained she can only read and write a few words but not sentences. I’ve been advised that I can ask for a mandatory reconsideration and challenge this. Anyone done this ? Any advice welcome !

We have had a number of members qualify for this.

I'm afraid this is an administrative decision, not a legal one so I'm afraid you have no right of appeal, despite what you been told, all you can do is try and provide more evidence of her long term prognosis the next time she is reassessed.
