Hi , I am in the support group for ESA and have been for a number of years , and recently been asked to go to an assessment , but I thought those in this group would no longer be asked to attend unnecessary reassessments .. according to the house of Commons Briefing paper !, I cannot recall seeing a list of conditions that qualifies you for this ...only that you are in the support group,so Im not sure why i've been asked to go to yet another unnecessaery assessment as they know my conditions will never improve . Wonder if anyone could throw some light on this for me please .
Being in the SG does not exempt your from further assessment, it may be that the DWP will decide that you meet the criteria to avoid further assessment but this will only happen, if at all, after a further assessment.
